I don’t know why I just don’t like the spelling of Frederick written down! (and I am almost always pro original spelling). Which of these is your favorite alternative in this combo?
oh fair enough !! i think of malak as a completely distinct name from malik and would pronounce them differently (malak is like mah-LACK, while malik can be either MAL-ick or mah-LEEK), but i just looked it up and apparently it’s completely neutral, i’ve just only met female malaks by coincedence !! sorry, i should have checked that before posting i was just wrong </3. i think malak is a good choice !! (also fwiw it’s worth i know a nb zain, though they pronounce it like zen).
If you’re not in the U.K. it’s probably fine but the former (fairly unpopular) PM was a reflex reaction first thought for me…I think this combo would be too much in the U.K.
Emmalyn is actually my name in real life (This spelling! I know one other, but its spelled different. I go by Em)! I’ve never liked my name, but honestly, I really love seeing it on another berry’s list. I can definitely see the appeal. It’s a super fun, bubbly, spunky twist on Emma, which I love. It’s always felt too modern to be my name, but I think I love it for you! Plus, Melody and Emmalyn are the absolute sweetest sister set! If you have any other questions about being named Emmalyn, my DMs are open!
I am searching for the perfect -ild/ilda name for my never ending list, and recently have developed a fondness for Everild and Everilda. Which name do you have a preference for? Thank you in advance for your votes; they are most helpful!
I won’t lie, I’m usually able to see [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] beyond the [name_f]Narnia[/name_f] association. but this feels very [name_f]Narnia[/name_f]
