Florence is more buttoned-up, Flora is more friendly. Florence is very English while Flora is very international. I think Flora is everything Florence is (minus the regal vibe, but nobody’s naming Queens nowadays, I can easily see a Lady Flora Something, though) but Florence isn’t everything Flora is.

[name_f]Florence[/name_f] is more serious and I almost want to say professional/business-y? And a little bit tomboyish, or at the very least less daintily feminine

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] is similar and I could see her with a darker vibe, but generally feels more lighthearted and girly. She’s also just a lot more versatile and feels more like a basic building block of a name, if that makes sense

Between these two very similar names, which do you personally prefer?

  • Brian.
  • Byron.

I’ve always like Byron more for some reason. It’s just got stronger vibes, I suppose.

I used to much prefer it for a boy but recently I’ve been loving it on a girl, maybe it’s the makeup brand but it makes it feel so sleek and sophisticated on a girl

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] do have similar energy, but the only way I can think of to explain the slight difference is that [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would be spinning in her bedroom in a dress and tights feeling like a princess, while [name_f]Flora[/name_f] would be outside, barefoot, making flower crowns.

Zenaya

  • Usable
  • Unusable

I would say Zenaya is usable…however I can mainly just see an incomplete [name_f]Zendaya[/name_f]! It would depend on where you lived and how much you associate the name with her, if you do at all.

I’m obsessed with your recent posts. This style is sooooo sweeeeet. Obviously you already know I love it.

I love this explanation. I agree… but with the names reversed.

Middle name for Lorelai is still a work in progress but I can see how to get Lola and it’s been suggested in the past and on various sites. I did include the middle name for Eleanor as Magnolia gives it an extra oomph to get Lola as a potential nickname.
