An explanation, feel free to skip

Since becoming a name nerd, I’ve liked the name Chase (for any gender, but in this case masculine). However, it’s always kind of been a one person name to me. I had a classmate with the name, and though he wasn’t bad, I just couldn’t separate the name from him. A few days ago, I had my final day of school with him (most likely forever), which feels like it kind of freed up the name for me. But now, I have a newfound love of Jace “Jay”. I’m really torn because I feel like I’ve been waiting for the name Chase to be free for a while, and I love it, but then there’s Jace, which I also love.

Which do you prefer (Chase or Jace)?
  • Chase
  • Jace “jay”
