I misread “Finley Quinn” as “Finn Quinn” and I was like hmm idk about that girlie
Bolton for a girl?

@AveryExtraterrestria I’d say both artistically and generally. I compile lists for real life use (although I know that I’m highly unlikely to use the ones I’m “hyper fixating” on in the future) and have always thought of the names I like in a way that is for my future children…I find it hard to think of them in any way other than my children’s potential names. However, I do love making combos, creating lists with specific families/aesthetic/types of people/themes in mind, and adore making sibsets while focusing on specific sets of requirements. It is very much a creative outlet for me, and a way to feel more positively about the future and its approach, but I also do it for practical reasons!
How do you say Timothea?
- tim-oh-THEE-ah
- tim-oh-THAY-ah
- tim-oh-TEE-ah
- tim-oh-TAY-ah
- another way!
Focusing only on the third syllable, not emphasis!
And I forgot to add…
In the US, it’d be…
- An easy correction to get people to say “tim-oh-tee-ah”
- A hard, but doable, correction to get people to say “tim-oh-tee-ah”
- An impossible correction to get people to say “tim-oh-tee-ah”
- Most people (or at least I) would say “tim-oh-tee-ah”
Continuing on from my previous poll. . .
- Ingrid Valentina
- Poppy Valentina
I believe it would probably only take one correction for people to get right, but especially due to the familiarity of [name_m]Timothy[/name_m], [name_f]Timothea[/name_f] is not at all likely to get your preferred pronunciation on the first try really ever.
It’s a pretty name and your choice in pronunciation is lovely! In the US, I just don’t think it’s intuitive enough to be a standard pronunciation. You’d just need to be prepared for lots of correcting in day to day situations where people may not already know little [name_f]Timothea[/name_f].
A sister for Kelly Alexandra Hope and Hayley Katherine Faith:

A sister for Annabella Catherine
- Aurora Elisabeth
- Adelaide Elisabeth
- Amalia Elisabeth
- Adeline Elisabeth
- Amelie Elisabeth
- Billie Rosalind
- Sylvie Cordelia
- Pippa Rosalind
- Althea Florence
- Leonie Blythe
- Leona Blythe
- Delphine Juliette
And to finish off, from my two previous polls, these are the three that made it to the final. . .
- Daisy Paloma
- Enid Mariposa
- Ingrid Valentina
i’m guessing you don’t like timotea? it probably would still get pronounced timo-TEH-ah/timo-TAY-ah a lot of the time, but timo-TEE-ah feels a lot more plausible with that spelling than timothea!
Who would you prefer for Dan and Harold?
- John, Michael
- John, Martin
- John, Murphy
- John, Christopher
- Stephen, Christopher
MAIS-el
- Maesil
- Maisel
Spelling and possible conflict of each spelling
- Maesil is the plum from a Japanese tree (?), it does look a little odd…
- Maisel is from a TV show but may translate to something meaning to unalive, it looks like a modern variant of Maisie combined with Hazel to me.
I always assume it’s Mad-eh-line when I read [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] is Mad-eh-lyn and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] could be either.

Favorite for first name ?
Here’s what I’m thinking:
Both are “over the top”, and Isabelluccia even more so. At first, that was why I voted for [name_f]Isabelline[/name_f], because I thought it’s more usable. But if you go over the top, you should go all the way. The people who think it’s too much will think so either way, so why tone it down for them? So I changed my vote to Isabelluccia. (also because iirc that’s what you love more anyway)
