for the first poll it depends on the pronunciation for me: ilija for IH-lee-uh and iliya for ih-LEE-uh! if you’re open to either pronunciation, then ilija is my favourite
and for the second one, i absolutely adore both ilya and ilija, but i wouldn’t pronounce ilya as ih-lee-uh – i’d pronounce it as 2 syllables!

Is Vision a virtue name?
- Yes
- I’d consider it one
- No
Trying to figure out what exactly constitutes the title “virtue name”!
to me a virtue is a positive quality! so i’d just call vision a word name

In the context of DnD, virtue just means “valued.” Therefore names like Eloquence, Knack, Opulence, Panache, and Quest are all virtue names. Heck, even names like Cinnamon and Metal or Rain would be considered virtuous to a baker, fighter, or paladin! I know this broadens the definition quite a bit, but idc!
If you mean “vision” like a hope for the unforeseen future then I would say yes.

@tallemaja and @bemiranda Thank you for the explanations!
With those being said, is Vision (as in having an imaginative vision for the future and not the ability to see) a virtue name?
- Yes
- I’d consider it one
- No
Which of these FN names would you / could you see being usable in RL?
I already know for myself but I’m interested in what the general opinion is, & not “any name is useable” (although I’m a firm believer of this obviously!) but what you could/would want to see in RL & what wouldn’t make you pause (in a bad way) when hearing it
- Jericho
- Marsten
- Taz
- Reuel
- Dracones
- Nekoda
- Timoleon
- Enoka
- Aztec
- Orrick
- Roswell
- Hamlet
- None of them - it’s ok to pick this
- Keltie
- Ulani
- Gratia
- Zaylie
- Calypso
- Bibiana
- Italia
- Navari
- Stilbe
- Kinvara
- Primavera
- Callidora
- None of them - it’s ok to pick this
I didn’t think it was before you asked, but the possibility that it might be made me more aware of “vision” being used almost synonymous with “hope”, and I’d 100% call [name_f]Hope[/name_f] a virtue name.

Do I seem like a Clare?
- Yes, you fit the name very well
- Maybe, I can kind of see it
- No, you could not be further from a Clare
- I literally don’t know who you are
It’s okay to pick the last one, don’t feel like it will hurt my feelings!
ETA - I’m curious too, if you don’t think I’m anything like a Clare, how do you see me vs how do you see the name Clare?
dalila is pn like delilah (ly-la ending)
the only other spelling I’ll consider is dalyla 🩵
- rowan alizée
- rowan dalila
