The Quick Poll Thread! (Part 7)

Love seeing Luminara :sob: I had the combo Luminara Bellerose in my top 10 so long ago :face_holding_back_tears:

I vote for the obligatory ā€œLouise you are evil for making me pickā€ option  But for real, if I could have I would have also voted for [name_f]Mayflower[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] ā€œMay,ā€ [name_f]Marga[/name_f] [name_f]Wildflower[/name_f], [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] [name_m]Florian[/name_m], [name_m]Sorrel[/name_m] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Thyme[/name_m], [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_m]Timothy[/name_m], [name_m]Morris[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] ā€œMossā€ (love this,) [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] ā€œDaffie,ā€ and [name_m]Herbert[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] ā€œHerb/Herbieā€!

So unfair I could only vote for 2 of them, they’re all so beautiful!

Uh-ma, but more accurately ā€œOh-maā€ (given the similarity to the romanized word for Mom in Korean - Eomma and Umma)

And how confident are you about this?

  • I feel a strong inclination about this - you give off a strong ā€œboy/girl firstā€ vibe
  • I feel a little inclination about this - you do give of somewhat of a vibe, but it’s a little hard to interpret
  • I feel a super tiny inclination about this - I could say if you ask, but I really don’t feel confident
  • I don’t have an inclination about this - you don’t give a vibe either way
  • I don’t have an inclination about this - I don’t have an inclination for literally anyone though

Would you consider Romany (g) usable in RL without being offensive to the Gypsy / Traveller community?

  • Usable
  • Usable but possibly offensive
  • Avoid it

Side note my son went to school with a Gypsy (who had no links to the culture) & it was never considered offensive but she did get some weird looks as all of her other 8 siblings had very traditional names, think Beatrice, Elizabeth, Thomas, James etc. :see_no_evil:

To me, this is the exact same as using [name_f]Gypsy[/name_f], if maybe slightly better since it’s not a slur. I have absolutely no authority to speak on the subject, though, since I am not a part of that community.

[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] could be a great alternative!

I could definitely see you as a [name_f]Harper[/name_f]! Not sure about [name_m]Bellamy[/name_m], but [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] is the right genre for sure. I really imagine you as a Marlow/e for some reason
