I think the last 2 syllables of [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] sound a bit similar to [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] (a Z sound followed by an L sound followed by a D sound) although that’s possibly nitpicky

For the Rawz vs flower polls, the main point I want to know is how you pronounce the o. If it’s with a long o sound like the flower [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] (the spanish word for pink) vs if it’s with the aww sound so please click one of those even if the syllables or s sound doesn’t quite match up.

I don’t mind seeing a more detailed breakdown in the replies as I love to see how yall pronounce things but when you do, please explain the o sound clearly. I don’t think [name_f]Roz[/name_f] is clear but I’m assuming yall mean the aw sound since that’s usually how I see yall vote

For the “oh” like rose vs “aw” like raw debate:
The only ones I default to and exclusively use “aw” for are [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Roslyn[/name_f]. I go back and forth and occasional say “aw” for [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] but my more frequent pronunciation for those is “oh”. Everything else is exclusively “oh” for me.
Also if you were curious, for the -line endings I go back and forth between “line” and “leen” but never use the “lynn” prn for them.
