I think I’d be more likely to make the association if it was a child with lesbian parents, yes. but in the same way that I’d notice if any pair of queer/lgbtq+ parents had children named [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m], [name_f]Marsha[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Storme[/name_f], [name_u]Baker[/name_u], etc. I wouldn’t necessarily think they were named after that person, I’d just be curious if they were influenced by them. I don’t think it would impact the child at all though, there are so many Ellens that I doubt anyone would be like, “oh, were you named after [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] DeGeneres?” or something!!
