Thegn

I really love the name [name_m]Thane[/name_m] for a boy (yes, I am aware of it’s origins and meaning, its appearance in MacBeth meaning “village leader,” etc.), but the older form Thegn, same pronunciation, might also be preferable. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_m]Thain[/name_m], or Thegn?

A brother for [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] (THEH-lya).

I love [name_m]Thane[/name_m] and have had it on my list as a nod to MacB (it was the very first full-scale production I was a part of during my years in a traveling Theatre troup) and I love how soft and charming it sounds. It reminds me of thunderstorms and rainclouds.

I like the spelling [name_m]Thane[/name_m] the most, but I do prefer Thegn over [name_m]Thain[/name_m]. I’ve never come across Thegn before, but I do really like it.

I think it would make a good sibling name for [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], ans might be the beginnings of a matchy sibset with the very similar first syllable and sounds, but if you’re okay with that then I say go for it
