I seem to find combos that I quite like for my top names in the last few weeks, today: [name_u]Theo[/name_u]!
I’ve always found [name_m]Kasimir[/name_m] intriguing, a bit haunting maybe. Somehow I thought about him today and how perfect he would sound with and between [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and either [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
Which one do you prefer? What do you think of the combo generally? Who would give their child this name?
(Oh, and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is just [name_u]Theo[/name_u] not [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]!)
I prefer [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Kasimir[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u]! I love [name_u]Theo[/name_u] by itself, by the way, it’s on my shortlist.
[name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] repeats the -r sound and makes the name uncomfortably rhythmic. If you love it I see no reason not to have it as a choice for a son. Its got many good qualities.
[name_m]How[/name_m] strange! [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] are two of my perennial favorites!
I like [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Kasimir[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] better. With [name_m]Kasimir[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], the -IR and -AR run into each other. [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Kasimir[/name_m] sounds better if you want to stick with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
Thank You all.
I only noticed the same ending of [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u] after posting this but I’m glad you feel the same way.
If anyone else has an opinion more about how the combo sounds/feels, etc. I’d be glad to hear them
I think it’s a very cool name. I’m not that fond of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] on its own, but I feel that it sounds very complete in this particular combo. [name_m]Kasimir[/name_m] is a personal favourite of mine, I love how you have spelled it with K instead of C. Most C names abroad are traditionally spelled with K where I live, so I feel very drawn to them. I prefer the combo with [name_u]August[/name_u], due to the reasons mentioned by previous posters.
