Was wondering if I should sick with middle flower name?
Names I quite like are [name]Rosa[/name] ( ruins middle flower name and quite similar to dd1’s middle.
Also like [name]Eva[/name], [name]Violet[/name] ( neighbours kid so can’t use) [name]Pearl[/name] (middle).
Well, both of your daughters names seem quite classic and beautiful to me. I agree that [name]Rosa[/name] is MUCH to close to your first daughter’s middle name, and though I like [name]Eva[/name], it doesn’t quite have the same feel as the other two to me, and I’m also afraid that [name]Isobel[/name] might feel left out if she was the only one without an “e” name. [name]Violet[/name] is very pretty - why not use that in the middle to continue the flower tradition? I would absolutely keep that going - it will be a great little link for your daughters! In keeping with that, I would stay away from [name]Pearl[/name] as a middle, but why not try it as a first? I personally really like it, and [name]Emilia[/name], [name]Isobel[/name] and [name]Pearl[/name] is darling!
Some first name suggestions (just sort of throwing out random things that I think sound good with the sibset):
[name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] (though this is quite popular)
[name]Juliette[/name]
[name]Vivienne[/name] OR [name]Viviana[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name] OR [name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Vera[/name]
[name]Geneva[/name]
[name]Lucille[/name] (love the name [name]Lucy[/name] but I’m not sure it fits with your sibset, so you could use it as a nn for [name]Lucille[/name])
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name]
[name]Do[/name] you like any of those? If not, that’s fine - give us a little bit more of an indication of your style and I’ll be happy to come up with some more!
[name]Flower[/name] middles: Nameberry has a great, very comprehensive list of flower middle names! Some of my favorites include [name]Linnea[/name], [name]Marguerite[/name] (French for daisy, though I might go with an English flower name to fit better with the theme), [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Fleur[/name], [name]Poppy[/name], [name]Aster[/name], [name]Calla[/name], [name]Daisy[/name], [name]Heather[/name], [name]Clover[/name], [name]Willow[/name] (though this is actually a tree) and [name]Dahlia[/name].
Quite like [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Scarlett[/name] but not totally sold. I like something classic but quirky and will try to stick with flower middle probably [name]Violet[/name] although do like [name]Dahlia[/name] .
What about [name]Chiara[/name]? It’s a variation of [name]Clara[/name], is a little more feminine with flair like your other names and is definitely a bit quirky. I think [name]Chiara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] sounds pretty too.
No problem! [name]Glad[/name] I could help. I think [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Scarlett[/name] are both beautiful names that sound nice with your other girls’ names, but if you want to put [name]Violet[/name] in the middle [name]Scarlett[/name] is out ([name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Violet[/name] almost rhymes and the endings are the same - not good [name]IMO[/name]). [name]Clara[/name] [name]Violet[/name] sounds good, but [name]Clara[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name] doesn’t (again, the rhymey thing). [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name] sounds nice though!
Some new “classic but quirky” suggestions:
[name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name]
[name]Helena[/name]
[name]Camille[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Cadence[/name]
[name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name] OR [name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Coraline[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Viola[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Adriana[/name]
[name]Seraphina[/name]
[name]Diana[/name]
Sold on any of these ones? If not, that’s fine again! You might want to try looking at some of Nameberry’s lists - they are a very good resource! Also, a fun thing is to go to nymbler.com and type in your favorite names as inspirations and it will generate ones that are similar to your style. Let us know if you want more suggestions - I’ll be happy to find some other names!
