I’m pregnant with our third girl! My two other daughters are Dove Senna and Clementine True. Meaning matters a lot to us- which makes it hard!! The name we both love right now is Constance with the nn Coco. I’m in my head it doesn’t go well enough with older sisters. At the same time don’t want to feel too “themed”! What do you think? Also, think we can get away with Coco as the nickname?

There are tons of lovely nicknames for [name_f]Constance[/name_f] especially love the idea of [name_u]Coco[/name_u] as a nickname. However I feel that [name_f]Constance[/name_f] makes [name_u]Dove[/name_u] feel a little mismatched. I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] + [name_f]Constance[/name_f] share so many similarities (their length, classic feel, both beginning with a c etc) that [name_u]Dove[/name_u] feels a little pushed out.

Looking at your other options I think [name_f]Clover[/name_f] works really well but I agree you could get pigeonholed into using nature options. Maybe [name_u]Clovis[/name_u] would take away the overt nature feels?
[name_f]Capri[/name_f] is fun takes away the nature connotations and I think sounds pretty with [name_u]Dove[/name_u] + [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] a good go between.
Finally looking at [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] I think she’s perfect with [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is spunky, bright and has gorgeous colour imagery. [name_f]Golda[/name_f] could be a fun idea! Maybe [name_f]Rosegold[/name_f] could also work? I do love [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] but if your husband isn’t keen then maybe [name_f]Golda[/name_f] could work.

I have never considered the name [name_f]Constance[/name_f], but I like it and think it’s pretty!! I think it makes the overall set feel much more refined and elegant overall, which could be a great plus! I don’t think [name_f]Constance[/name_f] is as happy, playful, or whimsical as [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but I think the nickname [name_u]Coco[/name_u] automatically fixes that and makes it playful & fun, and that [name_f]Constance[/name_f] goes well with her sisters’ names when you take the name meanings into consideration.
