I think [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] sound really good and natural together!! For me, the fact that [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is a bit more classic and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is a bit more contemporary, makes the pair more interesting and balanced. I also see [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as a timeless name good for any age as opposed to a clunky old man’s name. it has the “s” ending that feels modern as well

I would be surprised by brothers named Thomas and Griffin, the names are in very different categories in my mind. I like both names, though - popular and classic Thomas doesn’t feel too basic just really different to the modern-usage of rarer Griffin.

I think they could work if you really loved both. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is very classic and standard but it’s not too popular these days (ie. not top 10) and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] is familiar enough that it’s not like [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Galahad[/name_m] or [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and Sphinx, for example.

Would I be a bit jealous if I was [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and my brother was [name_m]Griffin[/name_m]? Tbh, yes, but that’s just from someone who loves names and I know of plenty of people who wouldn’t care or would rather have the more classic name :person_shrugging:
