Thought on the name Draco?

I prefer [name_m]Drago[/name_m] to [name_m]Draco[/name_m], I think the hardness of the c puts me off.

This is my concern too @VanillaMoff.

@Emma16645 I think in this particular case, that this association is too strong to ignore - these books were literally read by millions of children/people all over the world, and ththe movies were quite popular as well. If I thought people would only make comments to you about the name, I would say to go ahead since you’re comfortable with that. But this is the name of a very well known villainous character and I have huge concerns that your son would be teased and bullied for it, and I dont think that should be ignored.

If you love [name_m]Draco[/name_m], it seems fine to use it.

I don’t follow [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], so I didn’t realize the connection.

I’m not too keen b/c it reminds me of Drano and Draconian, but probably most people would just think of [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m].
