Is [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felton[/name] Wiede ok for a little girl? I feel like its not very pretty but both names are very meaningful for both me and my husband. Would love feedback!
…or maybe [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Everette[/name]?
Maybe give her a pretty first name and use [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felton[/name] as a double mn…
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felton[/name] Wiede
I adore [name]Hazel[/name]. Is [name]Felton[/name] honoring a loved one? I’m curious.
I would suggest [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felicity[/name].
[name]Hazel[/name] is gorgeous. Very pretty. I don’t think the middle name matters as much, especially if its honoring
[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] would be a nice choice if you wanted to give her a more feminine middle name, but still honor the loved one.
I think it’s great! [name]Hazel[/name] is cuter and younger than you may realize, it goes fine with your last name, and if [name]Felton[/name] is to honor family, well that’s that and it’s not unattractive at all, just not standard elegant lovely. [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Everette[/name] has better “flow” (the syllable flow is 2-3-2 instead of 2-2-2), and [name]Everette[/name] has softer sounds than [name]Felton[/name] to some extent, but, either is a fine name.
I’ll disagree with everyone else. [name]Felton[/name] doesn’t work on a girl at all, [name]IMO[/name]. It sounds very masculine and also sounds like your daughter has two surnames. [name]Everette[/name] doesn’t work on a girl, either. If you want to honor someone whose name is [name]Everett[/name], I’d go with [name]Eve[/name] or [name]Ever[/name] for a girl.
I think meaningfulness usually trumps aestheticism, but that may not be the case for you. I love [name]Hazel[/name], but think [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Everette[/name] is probably a better option (in terms of flow as well as prettiness) than [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felton[/name]. That said, I wouldn’t bat an eye at [name]Felton[/name]–lots of kids have their mother’s maiden name as a middle, so I’d just assume it was that.
Wait, another comment has confused me. Is Wiede your last name, or a second middle name?
If a second middle name, I think its a bit too much, having two surname-esque middle names. But if it’s your surname, you can’t do much about that, now can you?
I actually love [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Felton[/name]. It’s unusual but not weird and the name has meaning to you, and that’s always helpful if you run into any [name]Debbie[/name]-downers who would like to doubt your quite wonderful name.
