This name kind of came to me out of nowhere a few days ago and I’m still thinking about it! I really like Abbott Julian as a combo. I love having a good nickname for a name though, and I wouldn’t be able to use A.J. because my cousin’s son is Arnold Jr. and goes by A.J. 100% of the time.
I was thinking that Abbott could be Bobby when he’s little which is cute, but I’m not sure how I feel about it if it sticks after he’s older? I like Bobby a lot personally but I know it could feel a little dated. I wouldn’t want Ab or Abby. I also like the idea of Bobby because my top girl’s name is Siobhan nn Bonnie, and I feel like Bobby and Bonnie would be so cute since it would just be nicknames and the first names sound nothing alike! Any other nicknames you can see?
I love [name_u]Abbott[/name_u], it was on my own list for my little boy! I also think [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] [name_u]Julian[/name_u] works very well together.
As far as nicknames, you could get [name_u]Bo[/name_u] or [name_u]Ottie[/name_u] pretty easily from [name_u]Abbott[/name_u]. You could also use something from [name_u]Julian[/name_u], such as [name_u]Jules[/name_u] or [name_m]Ian[/name_m].
Side note, [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] & [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] are adorable together!
[name_u]Abbott[/name_u] is great and [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] [name_u]Julian[/name_u] is a wonderful combo! [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] is very cool – modern yet classic sounding and uncommon yet familiar.
I think [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] is a very sweet nickname for [name_u]Abbott[/name_u]! And I find it less dated and more charming personally.
I like [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] a lot! I would personally go for [name_u]Bo[/name_u] but I do sort of like [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] nn [name_u]Abby[/name_u], in a weird way. [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] is okay but [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] seems a bit too matchy for me personally (then again, I’m not sure [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] and [name_u]Bo[/name_u] is any better given their meanings lol).
[name_u]Bobby[/name_u] and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] are so so so cute! [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] and [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] are incredible! I really love them as siblings. Stylistically different, but so cool together—and I cannot get over the matchy nicknames. I’m totally in love with this set and these names. Huge fan here!
