Thoughts on Alaric

DH and I are currently swooning over [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] (really excited when he told me he loved it!) and we’re thinking it is our new top runner: [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] (mn honors DH).

For nicknames, I think [name_m]Ric[/name_m] is my favorite but I also like [name_u]Ari[/name_u].

Thoughts when you hear this name? Would you be excited to meet a little [name_m]Alaric[/name_m]? I know it is different, but I love that chances are there won’t be another [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] in his class some day… but it is not so out there, as the name has history to it. I think it also has a strong feel to it! Aside from that, it honors two important people in my life - [name_m]Al[/name_m] and [name_m]Rick[/name_m]. I think I’m in love…

Any feedback would be much appreciated - I’m just curious!

I love it. It flows very nicely with [name_m]Joseph[/name_m].

I love it, but I have a soft spot for most all the [name_m]German[/name_m] -ric(k) names. :slight_smile:

[name_m]Alaric[/name_m] is such a sweet name! I’m not normally into -ric names all that much, but I really like this one.

Yes I’m a big fan, it’s on my baby list. However since featuring on a top US vampire series it may increase in popularity.

[name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is lovely. I’ve had [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] in mind for a while.

I really like it, especially with the softer nickname of [name_u]Ari[/name_u]. I say go for it! :slight_smile:
