Thoughts on [name]Anastasia[/name]? [name]Do[/name] you like it? What personality traits does it evoke for you? Sassy? Smart? Strong?
[name]Anastasia[/name], to me, will always be with a Grand Duchess and Nicholaievna attached to it. She was an imp, she was fierce, she was fun.
[name]Love[/name] this! And I really like [name]Anastasia[/name].
I love the name [name]Anastasia[/name], and I always see it as someone classy, intelligent, and witty.
Someone clever and funny. I love [name]Anastasia[/name]!
I adore [name]Anastasia[/name]! I picture a funny and feisty girl. I’m so sad I can’t use it myself (The nickname I would’ve used, [name]Anya[/name], is too close to my own name, [name]Tanya[/name])
I like the name but have a hard time spelling it without looking it up. Lol. I like the nn [name]Ana[/name] though :)!!
I don’t think sassy when I think [name]Anastasia[/name].
I think of a very intelligent young lady who is quiet but a deep thinker. She is cunning and resourceful and a fierce competitor in any competition.
I had a good friend named [name]Anastasia[/name] once. She was very smart, pretty and gifted in the worlds of dance and design/fashion.
But I will also say that I do remember her saying on several occasions that once a teacher couldn’t pronounce her name, so she was given the nickname Nasty; which then stuck with her all through middle school and parts of high school so far.
I absolutely adore this name. There’s a fantastic series of childrens’ books with a main character named [name]Anastasia[/name], a smart, quirky girl with very cool parents. I would love to meet a little [name]Anastasia[/name].
I think of the animated movie, the Grand Duchess and the book character [name]Anastasia[/name] Krupnik. In all, feisty, young and as a previous poster said, impish.
I personally have “stay away from it!” inclinations though, because of an old classmate named her daughter this and also, the Fifty Shades of [name]Grey[/name] character. They are not what I think of first but at the back of my mind, they are there…
My great aunt was an [name]Anastasia[/name] so I think of her first though I don’t know much about her. Grand Duchess second. It’s a nice name
That might be enough to take it off the list.
Nooo, don’t take it off! Okay, it’s entirely possible that I am too invested in people using this name because I love it so much. However, do at least bear in mind that [name]EVERY[/name] name has teasing potential. I knew an unpopular kid named [name]Lucas[/name] who went through middle school with the nickname Mucus, while a well-liked kid named [name]Pierre[/name] was never teased for his name at all.
Grand Duchess [name]Anastasia[/name] was nicknamed: Nastas, Nastenka, [name]Nastya[/name] (and shvibzik and malenkaya, but that’s pretty unrelated to the name itself). So there are heaps of possibilities. I personally love all those [name]Anastasia[/name] nicknames, but preferably said with a slight Russian accent.
[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name]! Smart and strong but also fun and cute!
I love the name!
I love the name [name]Anastasia[/name], especially with the nickname [name]Nastia[/name] (like the gymnast Liukin) but I realize that’s unusable in the US.
