Thoughts on and Alternatives to Isadora

I’ve loved [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] for last 10 years. I love it’s history, that it has one foot in ancient [name_u]Egypt[/name_u] and one foot in ancient Greece. I love all the nick names the name has, [name_u]Issy[/name_u], [name_u]Isa[/name_u], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_f]Adora[/name_f], [name_f]Dora[/name_f], [name_f]Dori[/name_f], I feel like it is a name that would allow her to chose her own style with the name. Finally I love the different but not to different vibe of the name. I think in a sea of Isabelles and Isabellas, an [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] won’t seem to far a field. But I doubt there will be more then one [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] in her class.

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] is also the only name that me and my husband agree on.

That said as much as I love it, I’ve been holding on to it for so long it’s starting to feel a bit stale to me. So I thought I’d get some feed back from the Berries on it. For family reason any little girl I might have will be have the middle name [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].

Other names that I love that he doesn’t are…

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Oriana[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]- Though this name also was ruined for me by finding out about this lady.

I tend to like old names, and find I am drawn to names that have nicknames buried in them.

What are your thoughts on [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], and what other [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] like names might you suggest?

Thank you!

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is a beautiful name. Coming from someone who loves names in general, but chose names that I have loved since childhood for my daughters, don’t give up on [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]!

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] has grown on me. I think it sounds feminine and classy. I love the nicknames too.

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] is so adorable! Its in my top three, and its gorgeous and unexpected without being too weird. Its various nickname options are a bonus and makes it versatile, its one of those names that can work on so many people, so many personalities; and it is one of those names that can grow with the child (a baby [name_u]Izzy[/name_u], a child [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], a teen [name_f]Dori[/name_f], an adult [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]). [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is fabulous. If that didn’t sell it here are some suggestions:
