Thoughts on Annarose (one name not double barrelled)

Thoughts on Annarose as an all in one name?
What feelings does it invoke for you?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it would automatically get shortened to [name_f]Anna[/name_f]? Would you be guilty of doing this?

I’m one who doesn’t give people nicknames until I know them really well and they’re comfortable with it so I won’t do that.
Also I really had a hard time reading Annarose because I’m rather familiar with Annarosa.

I really like it! I had it on my list as [name_f]Maud[/name_f] Annarose once! I think Annarose looks balanced and is pretty and uncommon - but still recognisable. It makes me think of little pink rosebuds and running through grass while wearing dungarees!

I wouldn’t automatically shorten any name so I would say Annarose in its entirety unless told otherwise. But I can see that some people might assume that it’s [name_f]Anna[/name_f] with the middle name [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and then call her [name_f]Anna[/name_f], but it’s a simple correction :yellow_heart:

Ooh I love it! I really like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] variants and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] variants together so this is a beautiful combination imo  She might get called [name_f]Anna[/name_f] but that would be an easy correction.

I think it’s pretty! Feels very girly and sweet. I know an [name_f]Annalisa[/name_f], which is sorta similar-ish, and nobody ever calls her [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I think people won’t shorten it to [name_f]Anna[/name_f] if she doesn’t want them to.

Annarose is sweet, it reminds me of a girl who loves flower gardens. And I don’t think that it would automatically be shortened to Anna - Ann, Rose, Rosie & Annie are another nickname options.

Annarose is really pretty! Very sweet and spring-y. I doubt people would shorten it to [name_f]Anna[/name_f] automatically–I wouldn’t! There’s always a chance an Annarose would choose to go by [name_f]Anna[/name_f], though.

Annarose is sweet and pretty. I wouldn’t automatically shorten it

i like annarose! i might shorten it to anna, but i could also see myself shortening it to annie or rosie, depending on the person with the name.

I think it’s pretty, and I think other name nerds would keep the full name, however I do think there’s a good chance in the general population it would be shortened to [name_f]Anna[/name_f], especially at school. However personally I think [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is sweet as well.

i think it’s lovely ! I don’t think it’d be shortened unless she or you wanted it ! I knew a Hannah-Rose and nobody ever called her anything other than that

I love Annarose and don’t think it’d be automatically shortened to [name_f]Anna[/name_f] although there is great nickname potential if that’s something you’re into.

I knew an Annarose once. Her name was spelled Anarose though. Not sure which spelling I prefer but it sounds very dainty

Annarose is so elegant and beautiful! I definitely wouldn’t shorten it unless the ‘wearer’ asked me to. I think the most common issue would be other people maybe separating [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] into two names, but as other posters have said that’s an easy solve!
