Thoughts on Archer

I was wondering what everyone thought of [name]Archer[/name] for a girl? I’m not sure about it but I think I may kinda like it.

I love the name, but for a boy. My sister had a baby 2 months ago and they named him, [name]Archer[/name] [name]James[/name]. He’s a cutie.

[name]Love[/name] it on boys. Blegh on girls. I don’t tend to like boy’s names on girls but I see the appeal in some- I get [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], and [name]Harper[/name]- but [name]Archer[/name]? [name]Just[/name] not my taste. At all.

[name]Archer[/name] is all boy to me, sorry. Can’t see it working on a girl at all.

[name]Archer[/name] is all boy to me. I can’t see this name on a girl at all. As a middle name, maybe?

All boy to me. What about [name]Artemis[/name]? Daughter of [name]Zeus[/name], goddess of the wilderness, the hunt, and fertility; famour archer; the [name]Roman[/name] equivalent is [name]Diana[/name]. I think if you like the nn [name]Archie[/name] with [name]Archer[/name], you could still pull it off with [name]Artemis[/name], between the similarity in sound and her profession.

It does rather follow the trend with some of the “new” -er ending girl names like [name]Harper[/name], but [name]Archer[/name] is very, very masculine [name]IMO[/name].

I love it on a boy, but I’m not too fond of it on a girl. [name]Harper[/name] and [name]Piper[/name] have already “gone to the girls”, and for [name]Archer[/name] to follow suit seems like it would be kind of a shame to me. I do think that Astor or [name]Aster[/name] would be cute on a girl.

I have no problem with unisex names, but [name]Archer[/name] is very masculine to me too. Sorry I can’t really see it on a girl.

[name]Lovely[/name] name, but I only think of [name]Archer[/name] on girl’sgonechild… which has made it much more masculine, imo. I agree with a PP that [name]Aster[/name] would be adorable on a girl.

I like a lot of boys names on girls but this is NOT one of them. Sorry but I don’t see anyway that it could work on a girl. It does not give me the unisex feel like [name]Peyton[/name] or [name]Elliott[/name] does… Good [name]Luck[/name]

I don’t like [name]Archer[/name] on a girl either but I agree that [name]Aster[/name] would be cute. I also know of a lady called Astar which I quite like
