I like the name [name]Ariel[/name], but now I think I prefer [name]Ariella[/name]. And could use [name]Ariel[/name] as a nickname. What are your opinions?
It’s alright- I don’t really like it, but there’s nothing wrong with it. I’d prefer [name]Aurelia[/name] over [name]Ariella[/name].

I love [name]Ariella[/name] but only prounounced like ‘arry-ella’. 
As I have a girl in my class named [name]Arielle[/name] (ary-el) and I have to stop and think about it a second every time I say her name because my mind wants to say [name]Ariel[/name] (like the disney princess), I think adding an a at the end on top of that would create unnecessary complication.

I think it’s a beautiful name, but it sounds pretty close to the word “areola”. (Which would also be a beautiful name, if not for the meaning.) That doesn’t mean you should nix it from your list, but I find it’s good to try and think of the future playground taunts in advance…
It is pretty and not every other child will be named it.

I think [name]Ariella[/name]'s really pretty! It’s princessy/frilly and a little magical(in my opinion) which I love. I definitely think you could use [name]Ariel[/name] as a nickname if you wanted to. I wouldn’t worry about pronounciation. I know two [name]Ariel[/name]'s who pronounce their names differently. [name]Just[/name] correct someone if they get it wrong and then you shouldn’t have any problems.
