Thoughts on Beckett?

What do you all think of Beckett?

Is it too new / made up sounding ? We are not into the Jadyn, Bradyn, Cayden, Easton, new sounding names and worry that Beckett falls within that world.

Full name would be Beckett Michael Leonard.

I love [name_u]Beckett[/name_u]! Definitely not even a little bit too new or made-up sounding. It’s a pretty old name. I think it goes with other actually old names that sound trendy like [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u].

I love the name; it’s very boyish and nature-y to me, not trendy at all.

I like it a lot! It sounds kind of last name, old to me but with a nice modern ring to it. I deffinitley would not group it in with the [name_u]Jadyn[/name_u], [name_u]Bradyn[/name_u] crowd. [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Leonard[/name_m] has a good sound to it

Also, [name_u]Beck[/name_u] is a cute nickname in my opinion

I think of it as a surname name rather than a trendy / made up name.

Also kind of literary given the [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] connection, which I think adds gravitas.

[name_u]Beckett[/name_u] is wonderful, and it doesn’t seem to me to fit at all with the more “trendy” names. Go for it!

I kind of like it. It’s a tad trendy, but certainly not made up. I especially like it w/the nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. But I will admit that [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] is one of those names that I actually like in theory more than actually saying it. It kind of reminds me of a sound a chicken makes. But aesthetically [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Leonard[/name_m] is quite nice & doesn’t feel too modern. Maybe it’s the more timeless mns that you’ve paired it with.

[name_u]Beckett[/name_u] is a great name! I love the nickname ‘Beck’ too! I don’t think it sounds made up; I actually know a few kids with this name and it’s pretty popular!
