With the nickname [name_f]Callie[/name_f]?
I just became a [name_u]Grey[/name_u]'s Anatomy buff and it really opened my eyes to the name [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], like one of the main characters. Is it usable? My naming style is all over the place right now so I’m not bothered with it matching anything, but I want to see if it’s usable. I have names like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] on my list so I think it’d fit in well. Thoughts?
I like it. You’d naturally run into some pronunciation and spelling issues, but it’s a beautiful alternative to [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. I’m surprised how popular that’s become in the past few years.
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] [name_f]Iphigenia[/name_f] Torres… gotta love her!
I’m all for the proliferation of a few more Calliopes in the world. I know one who goes by [name_f]Callie[/name_f], and her mother is [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]. Talk about mythology.
When I found out her real first and middle I was thinking how much of a Nameberry name it was, lol! [name_f]Iphigenia[/name_f] is beyond a mouthful.
I love [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]. I would use it in a heartbeat. I’m not a huge [name_f]Callie[/name_f] fan, but I do like [name_u]Cal[/name_u] and [name_f]Calla[/name_f].
