Thoughts on Caroline?

What are your thoughts on [name]Caroline[/name]? What does it make you
Think of? First impression? Etc…

Thanks!

I really like the name [name]Caroline[/name]. It reminds me of sunshine, light, breezes, positivity and optimism.

I also think of the character [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Forbes[/name] from the CW’s The Vampire Diaries, as well as [name]Caroline[/name] from [name]Little[/name] House on the [name]Prairie[/name]. [name]Both[/name] of who fit my sunshine description.

I don’t know why, but I’ve never liked [name]Caroline[/name]. I don’t really get any first impressions, other than I don’t like it…it really annoys me that I don’t know why I don’t like it, but I don’t. I do, however, like the similar [name]Coraline[/name].

I think it’s underused and very lovely. I like it.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]! DH and I even both agreed to put it on our list before we knew we were expecting a boy this time. I don’t really have any associations with it, maybe because I’ve known a lot of Carolines, and they’re all different. To me, the name feels familiar yet interesting. Girly but not prissy. Sweet, but strong and confident.

“Sweet [name]Caroline[/name], oh, oh, oh…” I think that’s where I get the sunshiny vibe from. It’s a pretty name, but has substance too.

I think [name]Caroline[/name] is one of the most elegant names around. It just exudes class. I will say, however, that it is pretty common in certain areas, especially the South. I can’t even begin to say how many Carolines I know, and many of them are kids. But it is one of those names that isn’t diminished by popularity, in my opinion.

I have been warming up to [name]Caroline[/name] lately, after having known one for the past few months and finding out that she is a genuinely wonderful, intelligent woman. I would consider using it because of her!

[name]Caroline[/name] is one of my favorite classic girl names. It makes me think of one of my best friends who is so fabulous and fun that I have thought about using it as a middle name for one of my daughters. And the [name]Neil[/name] [name]Diamond[/name] song “Sweet [name]Caroline[/name]” is an added bonus… what a lovely song to sing to your newborn baby!

It’s rather lovely, especially with the French pronunciation. I prefer [name]Coraline[/name] by miles, though.

I love [name]Caroline[/name], and have also grown to like [name]Carolina[/name] (pronounced Care-oh-line-uh, like the states).

I love [name]Caroline[/name]! She is so beautiful! It always sounds so lovely!

I like [name]Caroline[/name], won’t say love, since I don’t love it enough for a first name, but it’s our top middle name choice ([name]Luna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is our top combo). It’s my husband’s favorite though. Definitely think it’s usable! Very classic and elegant.

If you’ve seen 2 Broke Girls, I think of [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Channing[/name], which depending on you can be a good or bad thing, but I grew to love the name because of that character.
