[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries,
I am after [name_u]Nick[/name_u] names, middle name ideas, other spellings, any thingy know on the name [name_f]Celeste[/name_f].
I am considering it for number 2
Thank you
I think [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is gorgeous! Nicknames are a little tough… [name_f]Cela[/name_f] (sell-uh), [name_f]Este[/name_f] (estay), [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], [name_f]Tea[/name_f] (tay-uh).
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Carina[/name_f] (to get to “CC” as a nickname)
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Corrine[/name_f]
I love the name [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]! The only nickname I’ve ever head for for it is [name_f]Cece[/name_f]… couldn’t think of many others, but depending on the kid, [name_f]Cece[/name_f] could be cute.
For middle names though, the list is endless. Ending on the -este sound makes it flow well with a ton of beautiful middle names ending in -a. Many Italian or Spanish names could work: [name_f]Arianna[/name_f], [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], etc.
A nn for [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]? [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is stylish and stunning! Perhaps [name_f]Celie[/name_f]?
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I think the name [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is beautiful! I knew a girl once named [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] who went by Cest. I think Cest, Cestie, Clez, and Celly could all work. You could even possibly call her [name_u]Leslie[/name_u]! I’m pretty sure Cest’s middle name was [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] (she was very Irish) but I think [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] would be really cute.
I love the sound of [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]! I’m definitely a fan of [name_f]CeCe[/name_f].

A nickname I haven’t seen mentioned yet: Lessy. In the same vein as Lissy. I can see someone calling a little [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] this as they wave her good-bye on the first day of preschool.

[name_f]My[/name_f] great-grandmother was named [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]. She was a very strong woman who knew all of her great-grandchildren and died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 103, having won the battle with cancer twice (and was once hit by a car and lived!). That’s all I can think about her name, a strong woman’s name, a warrior, and I really love it!
She mostly was called by her whole name, but sometimes she would get called Cel or [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]. =)
Oh wow you have really helped to sell me on [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], our first [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m], if a girl was going to be [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] nn coco. But I don’t feel I could use it again, it just doesn’t feel right.
[name_m]Jed[/name_m] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] :???:
Is coco to far of a stretch for nn, I really like Cici and [name_f]Essie[/name_f]. Is [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] to far do you think?
Loving some of these middle name suggestions, but still unsure on that.
Also does anyone know if [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] is a [name_m]French[/name_m] name?
