Thoughts on Cielle and middle names for it

We are almost set on using Cielle for our next baby girl due in Oct (my OH is trying to find another “cutesy” spelling for it but I like it as is). We think it matches with our daughter Ayvi’s name as they’re pronounced as AV and CL and also Ayvi means [name_f]Sun[/name_f] while Cielle means [name_u]Sky[/name_u].

We’re not sure what middle names to use. Our almost 1-year-old is called Ayvi Joliet Safiri. Ayvi and Joliet being her first names with Safiri as her middle. We’d like another place name like Joliet, preferably in the [name_f]Missouri[/name_f]/ Illinois area but so far all we have found that we like is [name_f]Iola[/name_f] which isn’t in either.

Other names we like are :
*[name_u]Mika[/name_u] / Meika / [name_f]Meeka[/name_f]
*[name_f]Myla[/name_f]
[name_f]Beah[/name_f]
[name_f]Zahava[/name_f]
[name_f]Kalila[/name_f]
*[name_f]Marlea[/name_f] / Marliyah
[name_f]Attalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Zuleika[/name_f]
[name_f]Tatiyana[/name_f]
*[name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_f]Naia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cala[/name_f]
*[name_f]Parisa[/name_f] / Parissa
[name_f]Samara[/name_f]
*[name_u]Rae[/name_u]
[name_f]Noa[/name_f]
[name_u]Alijah[/name_u]
*[name_f]Sahar[/name_f]
[name_f]Laelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Liberty[/name_f]
[name_f]Iola[/name_f]

So what do you think of Cielle and what would go nicely with it? One or two of these, a suggestion, or place name? Also for my OH what other spellings could be used for Cielle, I can’t think of any that aren’t going to change the way it is pronounced?

I’ve only ever seen the [name_f]Ciel[/name_f] spelling used, though if you don’t live in a [name_m]French[/name_m]-speaking place, I kind of think people might be more likely to pronounce Cielle properly than [name_f]Ciel[/name_f].

I don’t know a thing about [name_f]Missouri[/name_f]/Illinois place names.

I love the idea of [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], though probably not with [name_f]Ciel[/name_f] or Cielle because together they sound like you’re describing a lilac-coloured sky.

From your list, I’m really liking [name_f]Zuleika[/name_f] for you guys - a legitimate, properly-spelled but really unusual, funky name. Cielle [name_f]Zuleika[/name_f]? Cielle [name_f]Zuleika[/name_f] [name_f]Sahar[/name_f]? You may also like Malaika.

If I could vote a few names off your list: [name_u]Alijah[/name_u] looks like a misspelling of the very well-known [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]; [name_f]Attalie[/name_f] looks like [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]-without-the-N and doesn’t sound great to me anyway (I know it’s got a different origin than [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], but with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] being quite well-known and [name_f]Attalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Athalia[/name_f] being far more obscure I don’t think people would react favourably to it); [name_u]Rae[/name_u] (which feels really cheesy with Cielle - like, the sky’s ray).

I’d also take out either the Y or the I in [name_f]Tatiyana[/name_f] - having them both there feels superfluous - but generally I do think it’s an awesome name.
