I’ve always really liked the name [name_u]Connie[/name_u]. I think it would fit in really well with the Daisys, Millies, and Ellies and others that are coming back into style, but it’s behind the trend, which I like. [name_f]My[/name_f] only concern is that I would want it to be short for either [name_f]Constance[/name_f] or [name_f]Constantina[/name_f], and both seem a bit pretentious to me when I think about them on an actual person. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it would be okay as a stand alone name? Is it even usable?
I like it! It’s cute, it has a vintage feel, and it will definitely fit in with the Ellies and Daisys. I am a big fan of the name [name_f]Constanza[/name_f], it’s a bit more vibrant than [name_f]Constance[/name_f] or [name_f]Constantina[/name_f].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Connie[/name_u] . I know one she is twelve.
I personally wouldn’t use [name_u]Connie[/name_u] as a stand alone name because I’m not a big fan of using nn as full names but it is definitely usable.
I know a [name_f]Conny[/name_f]/[name_u]Connie[/name_u], her full name is [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f].
I’m not really that big of a fan of [name_u]Connie[/name_u]… however I like [name_u]Corrie[/name_u] as an alternative!
I love it as a nickname! I think there are quite a lot of ‘intense’ sounding names being used, and it’s amazing how quickly a potentially pretentious sounding name sounds very normal when there is a little person attached to it. Especially if [name_u]Connie[/name_u] is what she goes by a lot of the time.I think of the name [name_m]Victor[/name_m] and how I adjusted to it in no time. I like [name_f]Constance[/name_f] best.
Thanks so much everyone! I really like [name_f]Concordia[/name_f], and [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] is lovely, too. Great suggestions and input!
I really like [name_u]Connie[/name_u] as a stand alone name. It is short and sweet.
I think [name_u]Connie[/name_u] works, I like it best as a nn for [name_f]Constance[/name_f].
