Thoughts on Eloqui?

It’s a latin variation of eloquor. Eloqui? Too weird?

All I can think of is the clothing company Eloquii. It’s kinda hard for an English speaker to pronounce. Also she’d inevitably get called [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], which sorta ruins the whole unique name thing.

I think the sound is quirky and cool, but ultimately it might be cumbersome in the workplace/school due to pronunciation/spelling issues.

I think it’s cool, but it reminds me of the medication Eliquis.

I have to agree with the previous poster. The hard pronunciation doesn’t bother me so much if it doesn’t bother you. It’s the reality of being yet another [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. There is nothing wrong with [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]… some people like eccentric names/common nn. I just happen to want my eccentric tastes to shine and not be hidden behind a super common NN.
