I love [name_f]Fern[/name_f]! So lovely in sound, gentle and sweet. [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] make a great set!

I’m not a fan. [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is not a pretty word at all in my accent. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] are fine as siblings, though.

I personally am not a huge fan of the name fern or [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], but as long as you love it that is all that matters :blush: Also I think it is very cool that they would both have that literary connection. But I do love both of those books!

I wouldn’t worry about being “locked in”. While [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is definitively from TKAM, [name_f]Fern[/name_f] doesn’t have the same strong association. Most names have a place somewhere in the world of literature too, so I don’t think any kids after them would feel left out.

Fern has a gentle and sweet sound, and the literary connection is a plus.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] just doesn’t have a good sound to me.
