Thoughts on Final Choice?

I think we’ve decided on [name]Edith[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] for our first daughter due in [name]September[/name]. [name]Edith[/name] was my grandmother, and [name]Abigail[/name] was DH’s great grandmother. We’ll definitely call her [name]Edie[/name].

I’m not exactly second guessing our choice, but I do need a little reassurance. I know [name]Edith[/name] ([name]Edie[/name]) is not everyone’s style, but if you love it, tell me why. And if you hate it, go ahead and try to talk me out of it. (I won’t mind–promise!)

BTW, we already have a son–[name]Augustus[/name] ([name]Gus[/name]). So clearly, we’re not afraid of using old fashioned/vintage names.
