I absolutely love this name…I also adore [name_m]Earnest[/name_m]. My mom thinks I’m crazy. Any thoughts? We’re about to start trying for our 2nd and I can’t stop thinking about boy names!
I like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] a lot! It’s one of those names I would love to meet a little [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m], but I really doubt I’d ever use it myself. I always swoon when I hear it discussed, but I’ve never stopped to think, Why not put it on your own list, [name_u]Ashley[/name_u]? I just don’t love it for me, I guess. But I’m all for there being more Fletchers in the world! That and [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m]. I think they’re so cool. They give off a rough-and-tumble, educated sort of vibe to me. I think I like [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] slightly more, because I’m quite iffy about “F” names in general, but I really love [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] a lot, too.
I adore [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]! It was my number one boy name for several, several years – [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Ace[/name_m]. The choice has been replaced on my official list as simply “[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Ace[/name_m],” but I truly believe that, should I ever use that combo, I will end up using [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] as the first name.
I love [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] also. It’s my sons middle name and my grandmothers maiden name. I’m due in Oct and I wish I hadn’t used it so I could use it for this baby if it’s a boy!
I adore [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m], and would love to see them used more. Surnames make some of the best first names.
