I just want to preface this by saying I’m a [name_u]Southern[/name_u] Hemisphere [name_u]Berry[/name_u] - no doubt some of you are a little confused why I’m making a spring name list at the end of [name_u]August[/name_u]!

Lately I’ve been feeling a little uninspired by girls names. So, I decided to just come up with some combos using some of my all-time favourite names, some of my crushes, and some that just matched the vibe for a new list of [name_f]Spring[/name_f] Girls.

So, without further ado, here are the names:

I’d love it if you could either rate (give each combo a score out of 10), rank (put them in order from your favourite to least favourite) or pick and respond (pick the ones you like the most or least and tell me why - are the vibes off/just right? do the styles clash/fit perfectly? is the flow wrong/perfect?)

[name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to be as harsh or nice as you’d like, and say as much or as little as you want. And I’m open to suggestions if you think you know a name that fits my style that I haven’t discovered yet!

these combos are so beautiful! I’m going to rate them out of 10, but they’re in the order of how I’d rank them so I don’t have to do .5 ratings :wink:

Thea Astrid - 9/10 - this is such a beautiful combo! Short, spunky, and versatile.
Sylvie Clara - 9/10 - this is also so beautiful, and very sweet and artistic compared to Thea Astrid. I would prefer Sylvia Clara or Theodora Astrid or something to break up the two syllables of both names, but that’s just personal opinion :slightly_smiling_face: incredibly beautiful
Rosa Mathilde - 8/10 - I was really blown away by this!! I can’t place it, but this is perfect.
Jade Eliza - 8/10 - two of my favorite names!
Lila Wren - 7/10 - neither are my favorites, but they work beautifully together.
Hazel Kaia - 6/10
Audrey Elise - 6/10
Imogen Stella - 6/10
Mara Evangeline - 5/10
Bronte Anneliese - 4/10 - love Anneliese, not the biggest fan of Bronte (again, just personal opinion)

I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f], and [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]!

[name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] & [name_u]Jade[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]: I say [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] starting with the uh- sound, so these combos run into each other when I say them.
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] & [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]: the styles in each combo are very similar, but I prefer names that are different in style so that they complement each other. The names in the combos just feel like two separate names to me and are better suited to being siblings imo. Also [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] sounds like izakaya, like the Japanese food/restaurant (not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation).

[name_u]Love[/name_u]:
[name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] – Gorgeous! I wasn’t sure about [name_f]Mara[/name_f] for a while, but it’s really grown on me. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is obviously one of my favourites since it’s so similar to [name_f]Evaluna[/name_f]. The flow here is absolutely perfect.
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] – [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] is lovely. It’s one of those names that is just simply adorable, and again, perfect flow.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] – It’s funny, neither of these names are really my style normally, but I love them together. Partially because of the flow, and partially because I feel it’s just the perfect compromise for parents who would want a very traditional name, but also something cute and trendy.
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] – So incredibly elegant. This name feels like a [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Secret[/name_f] [name_u]Angel[/name_u], if that makes any sense at all. I absolutely love [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f], and you can never go wrong with [name_f]Rosa[/name_f].

Like:
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f] – I’m biased towards [name_f]Stella[/name_f] because it’s my name, haha! I don’t love [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], but it’s another one that’s grown on me since being on Nameberry, because quite a few of my [name_u]Berry[/name_u] friends like it. I like the flow a lot in this name.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] – I much prefer [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] over [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but I don’t mind [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] in this combo because it flows much better into [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] – [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is so cute. It feels like quite a young name, but isn’t necessarily a bad thing – perhaps youthful is a better word!

Neutral:
[name_f]Bronte[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] – For some reason, these names just aren’t my favourite together. I think it’s just the flow is a little off in my accent, but I’m picturing it in your accent and I think it would sound much nicer.
[name_u]Jade[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] – I just have never loved the name [name_u]Jade[/name_u]. It’s alright, though! [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is gorgeous. I think I would prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Jade[/name_u]. The flow in [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Jade[/name_u] also seems a bit better!

i’ll rate!!

mara evangeline - 9/10 (not 10/10 just because of the flow - the -a ending of mara runs into the e of evangeline)

hazel kaia - 10/10 (just perfect)

imogen stella - 10/10 (perfect flow and really like both the names, probably prefer imogene even though there is a slightly different pronunciation)

audrey elise - 10/10 (gorgeous)

bronte anneliese - 9/10 (both great names and great flow, but personally prefer bronte as a middle - it really works with this combo though!)

rose mathilde - 9/10 (LOVE rose but mathilde isn’t my cup of tea - I do LOVE matilda though!)

jade eliza - 5/10 (good flow but neither of the names are my cup of tea)

thea astrid - 5/10 (I quite like the both the names here but the flow is really off for me and the -a ending runs into the a of astrid)

sylvie clara - 10/10 (amazing!)

lila wren - 9/10 (love both the names and the flow is great - something just seems a little off, maybe because its so short :joy:)

Mara Evangeline - 7 -ooh this is warm and sweet

Hazel Kaia -8 - this is so bright and sparky

Imogen Stella-9 - gorgeous and starry

Audrey Elise -8 - charming and friendly

Bronte Anneliese - 8 - I adore Bronte! So literary and lovely! Anneliese flows well

Rosa Mathilde -7 - elegant and strong

Jade Eliza -6 -Jade isn’t my favourite but I love Eliza and the name flows well

Thea Astrid -7 - so spunky and cool

Sylvie Clara - 7 - classic, literary and lovely

Lila Wren -8 - bright and fresh!

I think Bronte Annelise and Rose Mathilde have to be tied first for me as I absolutely love both of them!

[name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] ~ 10/10 ~ [name_f]Mara[/name_f] is beautiful spunky and has a very spring like quality. I think [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] sounds gorgeous with [name_f]Mara[/name_f] but doesn’t have a spring vibe to me. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] feels very Christmassy in my eyes then I suppose [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] is spring/summer for you anyways lush!

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] ~ 6/10 ~ not a massive fan of [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] but [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] is lovely! [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] has a lovely autumnal vibe to me though :maple_leaf:

[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] ~ 10/10 ~ I absolutely love [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] so romantic, intriguing and vibrant. [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] has a cool vintage vibe and feels stunning with [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f].

[name_u]Jade[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] ~ 6/10 ~ [name_u]Jade[/name_u] is a fine name sounds sweet with [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] but prefer your other options

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] feels sweet but spunky and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] feels very Spring-like, kind of fresh and with the promise of sunshine.
