I love [name_m]George[/name_m]. Simple, classic, dignified, warm. What’s not to like?
[name_m]George[/name_m] is really cute on a little boy, but also ages well. It gives me an affable, funny man type of vibe. I like it.
I love [name_m]George[/name_m]!
Not a fan, personally. I don’t like the aesthetic of the repeated “g” sounds. I also associate the name with the [name_m]Bush[/name_m] family, which a bad association for me. (Not trying to be negative, just wanted to be honest since you asked for opinions. If you love it, use it!)
[name_u]LOVE[/name_u] having a [name_m]George[/name_m].
(We aren’t huge fans of Dubya or the [name_m]Bush[/name_m] family, either, but the overwhelmingly positive association with little [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m] has eclipsed the more negative associations, in my humble opinion).
^^ I agree with the above. I also like [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Washington[/name_m] as an historical role model.
Not a fan. Sounds “old mannish”, but also harsh (like someone else said) with the double g sounds. I also think it’s kind of boring and generic.
BUT, if you love it, then use it. Don’t let what other people think influence your choice too much
I’m sorry but i don’t like it at all. I don’t like the sound or the spelling…It reminds me of [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Bush[/name_m] too (which is not a compliment…)
I love [name_m]George[/name_m] (and have one myself!:). Curious what your other boys’ names are, as I try to name my [name_m]George[/name_m]'s soon-to-be little brother…
I voted no opinion. [name_m]George[/name_m] is a name I don’t love but certainly don’t mind hearing.
Our boys are [name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]!
Not negative at all, I appreciate your honesty!
I like the name [name_m]George[/name_m]. It is charming and old-fashioned and solid.
I also love [name_m]Frank[/name_m], [name_m]Fred[/name_m], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], and other similar names. Something very cuddly about “old man” names. The only thing I dislike is its lack of nicknames. There’s [name_m]Geo[/name_m] but that sounds like a product to me and [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] (except when he’s a baby/toddler) seems a bit much.
Not a fan, too popular due to a certain little royal.
