I don’t really understand why this name isn’t on NB but I wanted to get some thoughts on it. Definately inspired by Gilligan’s [name_u]Island[/name_u], but not named after it , just a name I discovered I like
Really inseparable from the Gilligan on the show for me. I imagine it was his last name? For those who haven’t seen the show Gilligan was a major goofball. I definitely would not want to share a name with him!
I never watched the show but I definitely went there when I read the title so I came to see if it was on purpose or not! I really like the nn [name_m]Gil[/name_m] 
Its cute! Very similar vibes to [name_m]Finnigan[/name_m] and [name_u]Callaghan[/name_u].
I like Gilligan. I don’t think the association with the show should be a deterrent.

Can’t say I’ve ever watched an actual episode of Gilligan’s [name_u]Island[/name_u] but isn’t the character supposed to be sort of dumb and bumbling? Not a great association. [name_m]Young[/name_m] people may not know the show but older generations would…I had to take [name_m]Felix[/name_m] off my own short list because I just knew my parents would sing the [name_m]Felix[/name_m] the [name_f]Cat[/name_f] theme song all the time if we used it. You may like the name [name_m]Gallagher[/name_m] as an alternative.
