Thoughts on Harley?

[name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for some thoughts/opinions/etc on the first name of [name_u]Harley[/name_u]? Middle name combo would be either [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] or [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]… So let me know your preference with that too, or if you have any other ideas.

Thanks as always!

Two words: [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I love the name but I fear that the movie will boost its popularity. Still, it’s a gorgeous name and one of my favourites. I like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] but I prefer [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f] as it kind of flows better.

I really like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] I prefer [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]. Goodluck

I like [name_u]Harley[/name_u]! I also associate it with [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], but more strongly with [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_m]Davidson[/name_m] motorcycles. I think it’s a cool name for a girl! As for middles, I like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]!

I’m not a fan. I can hear all the “I’d like to ride that” comments. It’s a very masculine name. I prefer [name_f]Hallie[/name_f].

I love it, but I only came to love it recently because of [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] in Suicide Squad (and I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Robbie[/name_u]). I fear that, if used from now, that’s all people will think of. You can take that anyway you like, I personally wouldn’t mind but I know a lot of people who would. There is meant to be a [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] movie coming out in the upcoming years because of her success in Suicide Squad, so I’d keep that in mind too.

My favourite combo of yours is [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. Very spunky!

Motorcycles, [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], and most importantly of all, it’s pretty masculine. I also really like the point that @boyandgirl made about the “riding” comments…ugh. People are gross.

I know because of the -lee sound at the end, it can be construed as a bit cutesy or feminine, but the truth is I think this is one of those names that only a certain type of girl can pull off. She’d definitely have to be super confident.

The questions, alone. “Like the motorcycle?” “Oh, like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]?” “Is your mom a [name_u]Harley[/name_u] super fan?” “Are you parents really in to motorcycles or something?” “Isn’t that a boy name?”

Then your daughter will roll her eyes for the 47 millionth time (and it will be surprising that her eyes haven’t rolled right out by this point) and be like, “NO.”

I wouldn’t recommend it, sorry.

I don’t associate it with the movie character others talk about but it does remind me of the motorcycles. I don’t think it’s masculine at all though; flows right along with [name_f]Hayley[/name_f] and [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]. I think it works just fine! Good luck!

[name_m]Kevin[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m]'s daughter is [name_u]Harley[/name_u]. Of course, he named her [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] after the comic book character. I grew up with a guy whose sister was named [name_u]Harley[/name_u]. Not sure where they got their name from and this was over twenty years ago.

I do like [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]!

I love it, but I definitely associate it with [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is very pretty.

I prefer [name_u]Harley[/name_u] on a boy, but it’s okay on a girl too, I guess. [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is good!
