I love name [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! It has been really growing on me lately. I think of a quite, serious little girl who is into quite activities and stuff.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is warm and sunny, sort of cottagecore vibes, with earthy gentleness but plenty of sass from the z sound!
I think [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] goes beautifully with [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]! [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is full of lovely outdoor imagery, sweetness and vivacity to me. It’s a 10/10 name!
I love the name [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] (I’m partial, because it’s my name)! I love being named [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], and I always have. I get many compliments on my name!
I think it’s very granny in a fun, upbeat way, as much as it it earthy and natural. What a perfect pair with [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], another name I think of as granny and fun. Two vintage sisters!

I love Hazel! It’s one of our top contenders for this little girl. I love that it fits into so many categories: old-fashioned, but not fussy, nature, spring, autumn, cottagecore, but also a little bit Halloweeen, a sound that stands alone, and a great meaning connected to wisdom. Hazel has it all!
My main holdup is its popularity, which makes it an outlier with our other kids’ names. However, we’re keeping it in the running despite that because, for us, it has a lot of sentimental value and meaningful connections.
I think [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] make lovely sisters!! They’re both so timeless and cozy and naturey sounding.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] on it’s own is very spunky yet sweet, someone who loves people but also loves hiding in a corner with a good book. She loves the outdoors and easily makes friends with wild animals!
Oh my gosh, [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] would make the most perfect sister set! They’re both a little cottagecore to me, and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] has some spunkiness.
