not super popular in the USA. i’ve only met one. what do we think? i’ve seen it as nicknames for [name_f]Hedwig[/name_f] and [name_f]Heather[/name_f], but how do you think it fares on its own? i can foresee it being teasing material for an immature crowd, but the connection to [name_f]Hedy[/name_f] [name_f]Lamarr[/name_f] might lessen that. let me know!
I like it in theory but I do think there’s a bit too much teasing potential for me personally (at least in the UK where I am) - do I think I’d get over it if I met one though? Probably
I don’t hate it but it definitely has too much teasing potential in the UK, where I live. It’s not a name I’d go for, not even sure I’d use it as a NN in my area if Im honest.
I like the [name_f]Hedy[/name_f] [name_f]Lamarr[/name_f] connection but the name itself doesn’t sound that pretty to me, and I personally would be uncomfortable with the teasing potential.
i’m with ya, everyone. i think i’d go for [name_f]Heather[/name_f] over [name_f]Hedy[/name_f]. thanks for your feedback!
I like it, but I prefer [name_f]Hettie[/name_f]. I saw that name on the gravestone of a little girl from the 1800s and I’ve liked it ever since. I feel really stupid because I don’t get the teasing aspect of [name_f]Hedy[/name_f].
Ditto!
