Is [name]Horatio[/name] wearable [name]IRL[/name]?
I don’t know, this one is tough. I want to say yes because I think it is sweet, but I am not sure the rest of the world would agree
I cannot think of any real NN options either to make a little more wearable. [name]Do[/name] you have any NN ideas?
For me I would say no. Whilst I like more unusual names I think [name]Horatio[/name] is just too unusual and too much. I also wonder about the response your son would get from others if you named him [name]Horatio[/name]…I am not trying to be harsh but I just think [name]Horatio[/name] is a big no!..but that’s just my opinion and there maybe others out there who think the name is great!

I think it would be wonderful as a middle name. [name]Horatio[/name] would be a pleasant surprise with a classic first name - [name]James[/name] [name]Horatio[/name], [name]William[/name] [name]Horatio[/name], [name]Michael[/name] [name]Horatio[/name], [name]Robert[/name] [name]Horatio[/name], etc. Something like that would be dashing. I’m not sure it’s completely wearable as a first name though. It would take a certain type of guy to pull it off.
I had a classmate named [name]Horatio[/name], so I can think of a boy or a man named [name]Horatio[/name], but I wouldn’t name my son [name]Horatio[/name]. As agirlinred said, I think it would work beautifully as middle name though.
I agree with the general consensus - I think that’s it’s a bit too much for most people to deal with, and it would probably be a bit of a hinderance for its bearer. I also agree that it would make a fantastic middle name.
I love the name, but I agree with agirlinred that it’s best in the middle slot. There’s no good nickname, and it’s to much of a mouthful to be very wearable.
I agree and think it’s a much nicer mn then fn. It makes me think of the cool fellow with the glasses from CSI actually.
I think of [name]Horatio[/name] Sans, the big guy from
SNL so [name]Horatio[/name] reads Hispanic to me. I don’t think it’s a bad name at all!
I love [name]Horatio[/name], as well as many other [name]Shakespeare[/name] names, but this probably won’t work [name]IRL[/name]. I agree with everyone else, better in the middle. Besides, I don’t think [name]Horatio[/name] fits with your other children anyway.
I don’t really think it fits with the other kids either, but since I was thinking on the name I was curious what everyone else thought. Because part of me would like to meet a real life [name]Horatio[/name].
