What is your opinion on the name [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]?
I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] it, although I do not like the nickname [name_u]Jackie[/name_u].
Could you think of some other nicknames? Thanks!

I love [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]! I only know 3, all go by [name_u]Jackie[/name_u]/[name_f]Jacqui[/name_f], but, I like [name_f]Elin[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] 
I like it. I think it’s a good name. Growing up, the [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] I knew spelled her nickname [name_f]Jacquie[/name_f].
I immediately think [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] [name_m]Bouvier[/name_m] [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] Onassis. Granted, I’ve always been very interested in the [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] family, but personally I do think that the name is very tied with [name_u]Jackie[/name_u] O.

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]. It’s sweet and classic. It might be a stretch but i think you could do [name_u]Quin[/name_u].
I like [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] a lot! Kind of neutral on [name_u]Jackie[/name_u], though…[name_f]Jinnie[/name_f], Quinnie, [name_f]Linnie[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_m]Jax[/name_m], [name_f]Jill[/name_f], [name_f]Quilla[/name_f], etc. would be cute nicknames.
I love, love, love, it! But dh won’t go for it. I also don’t really care for the nn [name_u]Jackie[/name_u]. I like the full name or [name_m]Jack[/name_m] or [name_m]Jax[/name_m] as nns.
[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] isn’t my cup of tea but it is a lovely classic name.

I like it a lot! Quite underused today but still a beautiful name. I like the nicknames [name_m]Jac[/name_m] and [name_u]Jackie[/name_u].
I really love the name! I really dislike [name_u]Jackie[/name_u] though. I always thought [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] would make gorgeous sisters.
I like it but only when pronounced the [name_m]French[/name_m] way

This conversation is almost 7 years old but I thought I would put my two cents in. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] and growing up I was a really goofy, energetic person and I felt like I didn’t carry such an elegant, regal name well. It’s definitely a heavy name to bear and I felt like I didn’t live up to people’s expectations when they heard my name. I toyed with many, many nicknames and the ones I ended up using over the course of my life were [name_u]Jamie[/name_u], [name_u]Jackie[/name_u], and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I really bounced from name to name, I tended to get bored of one name and move on to the next pretty quickly. Some other names I considered were [name_f]Jinny[/name_f], [name_u]Lee[/name_u], [name_f]Ellin[/name_f], Quinnie, [name_f]Quilla[/name_f], Jaqs/Jax, [name_f]Lynne[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Jill[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f], and [name_f]Lina[/name_f] if that helps anybody searching for a nickname. Some of them are definitely stretches but I think they’re all pleasant in their own way and could be helpful to any [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] having the same problem I did or parents looking for a good nickname:) Don’t get me wrong, I still think Jacqueline is a beautiful name and I’ve loved it all my life, I knew someday when I felt like I lived up to people’s expectations I would use it! Don’t let my experience stop you from naming your baby girl Jacqueline because it’s definitely an amazing pick.

I used to have a good friend named [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f], and That ‘70s Show, a show that I’m fond of, contains a character with the same name. However, the only nickname I really like for this is [name_u]Jackie[/name_u].

This is my mum’s name and I would love to honour her but it never feels right paired with any of my fave firsts…
