So my two favourite names are [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. My top combo for a boy is [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] but my niece was just named [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] so it’s way too matchy.
Also, I have been seeing lately that [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is very common. I hear it everywhere where I live. Another problem is I can’t stand [name_u]Ollie[/name_u].
So, what do you all think about [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]? Does it flow? If i was to use [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Jay[/name_u], would it still be too matchy?
I like [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], I think it flows nicely. I don’t like [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] as much - it doesn’t seem to flow as well or sound as great.
I really like [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] - sounds like a cool cowboy in the Old [name_u]West[/name_u]! Adding the [name_u]Jay[/name_u] though, might be a little too reminiscent of [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]. Still sounds awesome, but it might directly make people think “gunslinger.”
@thefairophelia No! I was surprised when I didn’t see anyone mention it on the first page. So while I think it’s a lovely combo (love [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] on a boy!) I wouldn’t do it. I think the connection with [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is too close for siblings, but cute for cousins.
