Thoughts On Kelby Morgan?

Hello! So last night me snd my mom were talking about names. And I mentioned I liked [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] on a girl, and my mom suggested [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] for a girl and the combo [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]. And I actually quite like it, but I’m a little bit hesitant if it’s too unisex. What are your thoughts on it?

I think it’s so cute! To me, [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] is more feminine leaning so it works out!

I like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] for a girl, not a fan of [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] though I do like [name_u]Shelby[/name_u].

Hmm. It’s very unisex, but it could work on a girl.

It does sound very masculine to me. I thought this was on the boys forum before I checked. I do like the combo itself, but yeah, I find it a little too on the masculine side for me (this coming from someone who adores [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_u]Max[/name_u] for a girl ).

I would assume [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] was a boy (it’s a little clunky imo). I do like [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]! Maybe [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] or [name_u]Shelby[/name_u]?

I absolutely love it!

I too thought this was the boy forum for a minute. While I prefer [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] on a girl, [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] feels very masculine and I think it needs a more feminine middle name to even it out.

Maybe [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_u]Kelby[/name_u]? I’m honestly not feeling [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] at all. But I do like the suggestion of [name_u]Shelby[/name_u]… I guess [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] would also be a similar name.

I’ve only met two Kelbys and they were both women. It’s not a super common choice and I don’t think iflt will be read as particularly neutral (not that that’s a bad thing) or read as masculine.

Kelby feels a lot like [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], and [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] to me; names that are technically neutral/traditionally masculine but easily read as feminine.

I think it sounds a bit too masculine, but it is cute.

I love any usable unique name so I definitely like it! It does feel unisex but not masculine. I’ve only personally met female Morgans and never met or heard of anyone named [name_u]Kelby[/name_u]. It reminds me of a mashup between [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]/Kelsey and [name_u]Colby[/name_u], so it leans just a tad feminine to me, if anything
