I think it’s so lovely! It feels vintage and quirky in the best way. Elegant but off-beat too, with some great nicknames that make it pretty wearable. Since it’s a [name_f]French[/name_f] name, the ending would be pronounced -een, not -ine.

I would love to hear it on someone. I think it is wearable! Not my personal style but not in a bad way, in an excited for someone to use it way because it is unique at least in the US and chic sounding. I am saying it Leon-tine. [name_m]Lenni[/name_m] as a nick name is so cute

It’s pretty, strong and striking, I really like it. I’d pronounce the ending -teen. I also love [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]! :lion:

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Leontine[/name_f]! I think it’s got a familiar feel via other [name_m]Leo[/name_m]- names which makes it wearable but still quirky. Leon-teen for me too.

I love Leontine! Elegant and strong with such a distinctive sound! I’d say it as leh-awn-teen (or lee-on-teen, depending on the day tbh) Leontine nn Lenny is charming too!

I’d consider it an arty name with plenty of grandeur and power, elegant but without frills?

I think it’s wearable but it’s very dated in [name_m]France[/name_m]. I want to like it as it fits the same style as other names I like but something about it is just meh to me personally.

I like it. It’s strong and attractive but sleek. Leontina is lovely as well.

Lenny as a nickname is nice.

I say lee-awn-teen.

my mother’s name is [name_f]Leontine[/name_f] and it is usually pronounced Lé-on-teen. I think it’s very wearable as the spelling is rather straightforward and one gets complimented on the name a lot :wink:
