I have just come across the name [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]. I really love it and think it’d work well, probably just as a middle name. Thoughts?
Possible combinations just from my list so far are (please bear in mind that due to my accent it’s more LIE-LOOK than LIE-LACK/[name_m]LOCK[/name_m], possibly allowing the combos to flow better):
I like it…they are my favorite flowers. It’s actually one of the few flower names I like. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite of your combos is [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] as a first or middle name. It’s really sweet. I agree with leadmythoughts that [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is a bit too botanical. The rest could work though.
I love [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]! I just put it on my list as a middle to [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] (I’ve loved it since my teen years, though, but never really thought I’d end up with someone who also likes it).
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is quite perfect
I love [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], it could work as a first, but it would be a statement name. I love [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] & [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
I quite like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] (along with some other purple flower names! [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] and [name_f]Viola[/name_f] ) but I think the stress of the ending in some accents would put me off. Your combo’s are very pretty though!
I love a [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] as a middle or a first! It’s very soft and gentle, and such a lovely colour. I love both [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] in general, but I think my favourite is [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f].
I really love it, and your combinations are gorgeous. I think [name_f]Marcie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] are my favourites. I would use it as a FN if I could, [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is beautiful
Also, this post may help [name_f]Elea[/name_f] posted it today, and it’s combinations with [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] from 1975-2005, and then some from the Victorian era.
Okay, so I’m the odd one out, but I don’t like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] sorry. It’s made of two quite unflattering words, lie and lack. [name_f]Lilac[/name_f].
It may just be the way I pronounce it though: lie-lack.
