Thoughts on LILYROSE?

We love the name [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] but hyphens are not allowed on US birth certificates and we have a family tradition for middle names and can’t move [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to the middle.

What are your thoughts on Lilyrose as a first name spelled out together?

I’m not a fan of two flower names together, hyphenated or not, but I think it would work.

Lilyrose is beautiful. I do prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] though.

It’s a little too sweet and too much flower imagery for me, but Lilyrose put smooshed together like that seems fine.

Lilyrose sounds pretty but looks a little bit awkward in my opinion.

I like it! You could write it LilyRose that wouldnt cause a problem I don’t think. But Lilyrose looks fine too.

I think it is a bit too flowery

It’s sweet, but I think both [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a bit much.

I like both names separately but not together, sorry! Maybe write it out on the birth certificate as two middles but use [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] irl?

I think they sound so pretty together but not a fan of them all smushed into one word. Could you do a double first name? [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] double middle?

It’s very pretty; I love how it looks!

I don’t love the way Lilyrose looks. What if for the birth certificate you do either [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or LilyRose as the first name and just use [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] when spelling it.

Hmm I actually don’t mind the way Lilyrose sounds and looks. I think it works

I think Lilyrose is positively lovely! It does have a lot of flower imagery but I don’t really think that’s a bad thing, especially if you love it. There are other floral names that are way more out-there and unusual. I really like the way it looks!

I prefer them as separate names. Simple and sweet.

I like it, it’s very sweet  Lilyrose is lovely.

I don’t mind mind both names together however I would prefer it spelt as [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] rather than Lilyrose

It could work. Personally, I would probably only go with one flower.

I’ve got to admit the more I see this thread the better and better Lilyrose looks! Sort of an updated [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
