I am 34 weeks and still very unsettled on my quest to find the perfect royal, timeless, substantial name for my baby girl. One I LOVE but eliminated immediately was Margaret, due to it sounding bad with our last name, Marks. But as I don’t feel great about any of our other options, I bring it to you to weigh in: was I being rash to dismiss it out of turn? Is it truly a no-go or actually ok? One note that yes, middle names help, but since she will usually be known as Margaret Marks, I just want to see if that’s really as bad as I initially thought. Thanks so much!!!
I think the alliteration actually could grow on a person. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] Marks does sound really regal! It sounds like a name someone would change their name to, like a stage name so I think it really works actually.
I had a brief moment where I thought of [name_m]Marky[/name_m] [name_m]Mark[/name_m]. The alliteration is definitely strong but I don’t think its unusable at all!
I like the sound of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] Marks 
I think it’s a little too close for my own taste but not unusable. If it’s really jumping out to you as your favorite name and the best name for you, I don’t think the alliteration has to be a deal-breaker.

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] Marks is very classy. I think it works well, and I absolutely love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] with your older children’s names!!

I actually really like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] Marks! So lovely and memorable!
The alteration is a bit much for me personally…
But I think it’d be okay just as long as you didn’t pick a middle name that started with M too! 
I actually like the sound of it a lot! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think you would call her [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or nn [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]? Either works, I think [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] Marks is very cute as well!
