Without doing any research, I voted for [name_f]Maisa[/name_f]. I’m not sure if that’s the original spelling but it looked more original. I’d say go with whatever’s the original spelling of the name.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]–so pretty and exotic and flows better than [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]!
The original is [name_f]Mesa[/name_f], but it just isn’t as appealing as [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Maysa[/name_f].
I voted [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] because I think it’s more intuitive with the pronunciation of the name. Also, I like the look of it a little more than [name_f]Maisa[/name_f]. But both are good options.
I like the look of [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] better, so I voted for her. [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] would be gorgeous!
[name_f]Maisa[/name_f] was my first choice as well the only thing I worry about is mispronunciation. I feel like with [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] there is no other way to pronounce it.
I think you might only get mispronunciation is if you live in a primarily Latin area. Most people are familiar wigh [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], or at at least [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], where the ai is pronounced like ay. I wouldn’t worry about it.
I’m trying to get my husband on board with [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] but alas he still favors [name_f]Maysa[/name_f]. I may just have to compromise on spelling.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you want it to have more of a z sound like in [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], or an s: may-suh? Because with [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] you might get both. visually, I prefer [name_f]Maisa[/name_f].
We want it pronounced may-sa which is why I think my husband prefers [name_f]Maysa[/name_f].
My vote goes for [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]. Looks prettier and flows better.
I pronounce [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] differently. [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] has a softer S while [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] sounds like “may-zuh”. Not sure which you’re going for but I didn’t vote because I wasn’t sure. I think [name_f]Maysa[/name_f]/[name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] flows better and sounds super unique and regal!
Which is why I’m pretty sure we’re going to go with [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] due to pronunciation. So I think we’re settled on [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f].
[name_f]Maysa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is perfect with [name_f]Majken[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]!
We both agree! Thank you to everyone who helped us out and I am 100% positive there won’t be anymore debate about names. We both love [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and can’t wait to meet her!
I prefer the look of [name_f]Maisa[/name_f], so I voted for that. As for a middle name, I love [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of the ‘a’ ending on both names in the combo [name_f]Maisa[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f].
I voted for Maysha. I think that’s pretty, and [name_f]May[/name_f] could work out well as a nickname if you’d like. I also [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] as a middle name.
Maysha [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], beautiful
I like them both, though I’d pronounce them differently. I read them as ‘may-sah’ (like the start of Mason) for [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] and ‘maze-ah’ (like Maisie) for [name_f]Maisa[/name_f].
I voted [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] because I am familiar with the name. I think [name_f]Maysa[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is better.
