Thoughts on My Current Favourites?

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites right now are:

[name_m]Orrin[/name_m], [name_m]Elgin[/name_m], Dexton

[name_f]Abigail[/name_f], Ayda, [name_f]Elnora[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], Evren

I think [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] is extremely pretty.

[name_m]Orrin[/name_m] & [name_m]Elgin[/name_m] - I’m not sure how to feel about these two, I quite like them but also have points about both that I dislike, however I don’t object to either of them.
Dexton - This is a really sweet take on [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], in my opinion, I really like it but would personally never use it.

[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], though know too many in real life to make it a plausible option for me to use. It is however a beautiful name that lends itself to the nickname [name_u]Abby[/name_u] and would suit many different personalities.
Ayda - I’m unsure of the pronunciation of this and can only assume it to be Ay-EE-duh??? Correct me if I’m wrong. I think it is delicate and sweet but may raise spelling/pronunciation difficulties in the future.
[name_f]Elnora[/name_f] - I am not sure whether or not this is a derivative of [name_f]Nora[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], or a [name_f]Renesmee[/name_f]-esque blend of the two. I personally am not a fan of the name [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and so find myself biased against this name in that it feels ‘clunky’ or ‘heavy’ on my lips, an old name masquerading as the sweet, and in my opinion preferable, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] - [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is not a name that I object to, though I do think it is one of the ‘vintage’ names that is not perhaps ready for a return.
Evren - I do quite like this name, it is short, sweet and somewhat reminiscent of [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] and [name_f]Arianwen[/name_f], names that have either been used for elves ([name_f]Arwen[/name_f] & [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]), mean elfish ([name_f]Elvira[/name_f]) or in my opinion are magnificently fairy-like ([name_f]Arianwen[/name_f], meaning silver). It’s a very pretty name, just begging for the tomboyish nickname ‘[name_u]Ren[/name_u].’

Sorry if I’ve offended you in anyway, I didn’t mean to, I just have a different naming style to you and so wouldn’t use some of your favourites. I do however find myself intrigued by Dexton & Evren.

I like [name_m]Orrin[/name_m], kind of a mix between [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_u]Perrin[/name_u]. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is also a guilty pleasure name for me but I love the nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f]. I’d use it as a nickname for [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] [name_f]Della[/name_f] ([name_m]ED[/name_m]), another option would be Edolie X

I like Dexton, Ayda… Evren is nice!
