Thoughts on my lists? :)

I’m not expecting, just a self-confessed nameophile hoping to fall pregnant in the next couple of years  I’ve been a Nameberry lurker for awhile and would love your opinions on the names I’m tossing around at the moment! You can probably get some ideas of what I like from my lists below, but I’m open to ideas… I’d love something that wasn’t on the SSA Top 1000 but not TOO weird (i.e. [name]Imogen[/name] = EXCELLENT, [name]Lark[/name] = too out there for my tastes… haha!). Especially for my boys… so many of my choices are very popular. Thanks in advance for the help!

[name]Amelie[/name] (edit: or [name]Amalia[/name], pronounced [name]Ah[/name]-ma-[name]LEE[/name]-uh)

Here are my honest opinions!

[name]Oliver[/name] - Very nice name, not my style and too popular for me, but perfectly nice name!
[name]Alexander[/name] - Very strong and masculine name, very popular but not trendy so that save it a bit.
[name]Felix[/name] - I really like this name and the ‘x’ makes it fit the trend.
[name]Micah[/name] - I do like this name a lot, fresher version of [name]Michael[/name].
[name]Dominic[/name] - Feels a little rough and tumble for me, but a strong masculine name.
[name]Frederick[/name] - I am not in love with this name, but it is a sweet and good natured name and [name]Freddy[/name] would make it appealing to many.
[name]Leo[/name] - I really can’t stand [name]Leo[/name] names, but I can see its popularity because it is a strong name that uses a minimum of letters.
[name]Maxwell[/name] - I think this is the most user friendly version of [name]Max[/name] available, love it.
[name]Nathaniel[/name] - I really like [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name], but [name]Nathaniel[/name] is def a fustier version.
[name]Finlay[/name] - Too trendy and becoming way too unisex for me to take it seriously. [name]Finley[/name], [name]Finnian[/name] or [name]Finnigan[/name] are a better choice [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Gabriel[/name] - I like this name, good and strong yet soft looking.
[name]Landon[/name] - Too close to [name]London[/name] [name]IMO[/name]
[name]Asher[/name] - I love the nick name [name]Ash[/name] a lot and would even recommend [name]Ashley[/name] if I could!
[name]Sebastian[/name] - I love this name, what a strong and under used name!
[name]Tristan[/name] - Seems kind of soft and ineffectual to me, maybe that is just my take on the name.

[name]Imogen[/name] - I adore this name, what a great name as long as it is pronounced em-ah-jen!
[name]Amelie[/name] (edit: or [name]Amalia[/name], pronounced [name]Ah[/name]-ma-[name]LEE[/name]-uh) - I love [name]Amelie[/name] a lot, [name]Amalia[/name] not so much.
[name]Lydia[/name] - I love this name and the nick name [name]Lydie[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] - I love this name, unfortunately it will be forever be linked to Madelein McCann
[name]Evangeline[/name] - I find this name too much, too long, too frilly, but it is a pretty name and very femenine.
[name]Ruby[/name] - I love this name, it is old lady chique!
[name]Poppy[/name] - Sounds like it will forever be linked to a very little girl. Maybe as a nick name for [name]Penelope[/name].
[name]Tess[/name] - I love [name]Tessa[/name], [name]Tess[/name] seems unfinished.
[name]Aurelia[/name] - I am not sure how to pronounce this.
[name]Ingrid[/name] - I like this but love [name]Imogen[/name] more!
