Thoughts on my names?

Hey Guys,

So we arent pregnant yet but i love names so we are already discussing them. They could change :stuck_out_tongue:

For our girls name we have [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and for a boy, [name_m]Zander[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]

What are your opinions on our names?

** Our last name ends in ‘INS’ and is 2 syllables**

Thank you kindly

xx

I absolutely love the name [name_f]Lila[/name_f] - it’s sleek and pretty and elegant. But for that reason I really, really dislike adding an -h to the end - it just cheapens it and makes it clunky.

I also prefer [name_m]Xander[/name_m] to [name_m]Zander[/name_m].

I adore [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]! But [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is so-so.

[name_m]Zander[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] is lovely, but I much prefer [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]! Still, it’s a great name

I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] as middles! I’m not a fan of nickname names so personally I’d go with [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]

I love the spelling [name_f]Lila[/name_f] but too many people said they want to pronounce it [name_u]LEE[/name_u]-LAH :-? I also love the spelling [name_m]Xander[/name_m] but hate how people sometimes pronounce it EX-ander like they do with [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]. I couldnt handle that haha

I love [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], it sounds sweet but strong.

I also like [name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] but like another berry already mentioned, I’m not a huge fan of nn names. I personally prefer [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] with the nn [name_m]Xander[/name_m].

I love [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. Although [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is popularish it goes perfect with [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]. I haven’t seen it spelt before with the H on the end but I actually quite like it.
I can’t say I love [name_m]Zander[/name_m] as much but it’s still nice. I think [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] goes really well with it.
As a sibset they go pretty well together. I like that neither first name is super common and a middle name that is more common.

I dont like the name [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] :frowning: unfortunately… Otherwise we would consider it. I hate how common the name [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is but i think it goes so well with [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] and as a middle name its acceptable :stuck_out_tongue: I dont think common names matter so much when they are used for middle names. I also had [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u] as my second boys name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer that?

I think lengthening the names to a 3 syllable has a nice cadence.
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] 1 syllable (like flynn) 2 syllable last name. thats a personal preference though

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is delightfully perfect! I also prefer the [name_m]Xander[/name_m] spelling.
